Photoshoot at the Park!

Hey Everyone!

This was quite a while ago, but I want to share some pictures I took of my sister at our local park! I took them when I Heart Faces was doing the "Sunglasses" category. It was my first time doing a photoshoot at somewhere other than my house! So, this is a milestone in my photography! hehe I also edited them in Photoshop Elements 8-we bought it! Yay! :)

I Heart Faces: Got To Wear Shades

Hey everyone! I am sorry about my lack of pictures lately, we are getting a new computer hard-drive soon!

We went to the park, and this was such a pretty setting! It was my first time doing a photoshoot somewhere other than my own backyard! It was SO much fun! :)

In Speech, In Life, In Love, In Faith and In Purity.

For my 16th Birthday and my sister's 13th this year we planned on getting Purity Rings from our parents. It seemed so special to get it on my 16th! I am staying pure to God and my Future Husband, and I wanted to show it. My birthday was in March, so it's taken awhile for us to get my ring. Though, I finally picked it up last Saturday at Kay's Jewelers! It is SO beautiful, and totally called for a ring photo-shoot! haha :)

Here are a few pictures of my Purity Ring...

Isn't it pretty? When I saw it I knew it was the one I wanted! It had everything-A heart, a sign of staying pure to God with the cross, and two diamonds! :)

I tried to be art-sy with this one! :)

Newsy Picture Post!

Hi Everyone!

This is going to be a newsy-picture post! haha

First off, I am sorry that I haven't posted new pictures in a while. One of our computers died, and it had a lot of my pictures on it. Don't worry, my pictures were saved-but we have to get a new computer. The computer I am typing on now is our laptop, but it can be really slow. I still want to try to post, but posts might be scarce until we get a new computer. :(

Also, in August my local library is having three classes on how to use Photoshop Elements 8! It going to be taught by a professional photographer in our area. My dad, sister, and I are signed up for all the classes! I can't wait! :D

Now, here are a few pictures! They are of some bleeding hearts at my Grandma's house! They were taken during Mother's Day this year, and they were SO beautiful! :)

Fourth of July Fun!

I know this post is a bit overdue, but I took so many pictures for the Fourth of July-it was hard to go through them all! lol

I had an AWESOME Independence Day! We went to my Grandad's cabin again, he lives on a lake community. My cousins came, and we swam in the lake for almost 3 hours! It was so much fun! Then we dried off and did pop-its, sparklers, and got on my Grandad's boat to watch the annual Fireworks at Lake Lorelei!

We did a few fountains too! (this one my family actually did in our yard, but it's prettier than the pictures of the ones we did at my Grandad's.)

After the firework appetizers (hehe), we went to go see the big fireworks! :D

I Heart Faces: Teens Only

This week for I Heart Faces is special! Only Teens can enter the Photo Challenge to end the celebration of Teens at IHF! Also, your entry only has to have a human face in it! Since I am a teen, at 16, I can enter! Yay! :)

Last week we went to the zoo with my cousins, and at our zoo they have a place where you can feed and hold Lorikeet birds! These birds are seriously crazy! When one landed on my sister's head-it made for a cute picture! :D
